SMA Sunny Tripower 50-41 CORE 1 50 kW The Sunny Tripower core 1 is the world's first free-standing grid-connected inverter for decentralised photovoltaic systems on roofs, open spaces and covered car parks.
CORE1 is the third generation of the successful Sunny Tripower product series, and its innovative design is revolutionising the commercial inverter market.
CORE1 is a fully integrated solution designed specifically to speed up installation and achieve a higher return on investment. With no additional racks, components or other equipment required, installation technicians save a lot of time and reduce system balancing costs.
CORE1 is equipped with integrated AC and DC disconnectors, direct string inputs and six MPP channels using SMA OptiTrac™ Global Peak technology. It also includes complete network management functions.
With an output of 50 kilowatts, CORE1 is scalable and suitable for a range of commercial installations and system designs up to the megawatt range.
CORE1 is equipped with integrated Wi-Fi, which allows users to monitor system performance locally in a web browser on any mobile device. In addition, the inverter can connect to a WLAN network for local monitoring of system performance or data transfer to Sunny Portal.
For commercial installations that plan to use Ethernet, two Ethernet ports are included in the unit, which work together with SMA Modbus – which supports the industry standard protocol for communication between electronic devices.
Easy field maintenance also delivers significant savings. While most commercial inverters must be returned to the manufacturer for repair in the event of a fault, the CORE1 contains components that can be replaced in the field, meaning hours of downtime instead of days – and ultimately leading to substantial savings in operating costs.
